This M.2 M Key to PCIe 3.0 x16 extension cable connects external graphics cards and add-in boards to single-board computers like the LattePanda Sigma. Delivering up to 32Gbps bandwidth over a PCIe 3.0 x4 link, it enables high-throughput peripheral expansion without driver installation. It is ideal for makers and developers expanding the compute or graphics capabilities of compact SBC setups.
High-speed PCIe 3.0 x4 bandwidth
Featuring a standard PCIe x16 slot operating at PCIe 3.0 x4 specifications, this adapter delivers transfer rates up to 8GT/s and bandwidth up to 32Gbps. A differential signal hole-free design eliminates signal attenuation and interference caused by parasitic capacitance and inductance.
Flexible EMI-shielded flat cable
The 20cm cable incorporates metal shielding layers and conductive polymers to protect high-speed signals from electromagnetic interference. The flat profile can be bent and folded to accommodate compact or custom chassis layouts.
Dedicated SATA power delivery
The adapter includes a 15-pin SATA power cable to supply dedicated power up to a maximum rating of 75W directly to the slot. This ensures stable power delivery to connected PCIe hardware without drawing excess current from the host motherboard.
Safe handling and installation precautions
Verify connector orientation before plugging in to avoid short circuits, and brace the host socket during insertion to protect the board pins. Do not bend or pull the ribbon within 2cm of the solder joints connecting the wire to the circuit boards.
