Description
The LPB60B is a high-performance single-point direct time-of-flight (DToF) LiDAR sensor offering accurate distance measurement from 0.05 up to 60 metres. Built with an IP65 weatherproof enclosure, 100klux ambient light immunity, and an adjustable measurement frequency up to 2000Hz, it is ideal for robotics developers, drone builders, and IoT engineers working in challenging indoor and outdoor environments.
Direct time-of-flight precision
Operating on the DToF principle with a 905nm laser, the sensor provides ±5cm accuracy and 1.5cm resolution across its full range. Its narrow 0.17-degree emission angle and 2.2-degree reception field of view deliver stable point measurements up to 60m at 90% reflectivity and 24m at 10% reflectivity.

High-speed adjustable sampling
Measurement frequency can be adjusted from 1Hz to 2000Hz, with a standard default rate of 100Hz. This rapid data throughput allows the sensor to capture fast-changing distances accurately in high-speed tracking and collision avoidance scenarios.

IP65 environmental protection
The sensor is rated IP65 against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for demanding outdoor installations. It tolerates direct sunlight up to 100klux and operates reliably across an extreme temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.

Compact form factor and wiring
Weighing just 43g, the unit integrates a 5V UART communication interface with standard four-wire colour coding for VCC, RX, TX, and GND. It includes internal electrical protections against reverse polarity connection, overvoltage, and current limiting.

Versatile industrial applications
With CE, FCC, RoHS, and FDA certifications, the sensor easily integrates with Arduino IO expansion boards and microcontrollers. Common use cases include drone altitude hold, intelligent vehicle flow detection, barrier gate monitoring, silo level sensing, and parking space inspection.
