LeiShen Multi-Line Mechanical Lidar Sensor

The LeiShen Multi-Line Mechanical Lidar Sensor is a high-performance 3D mapping and environment scanning solution designed for advanced robotics development. Available in 16-line and 32-line configurations, it is ideal for university researchers, autonomous vehicle developers, and industrial makers building robust navigation systems.

Dual model options

The sensor is available in two distinct hardware configurations: the C16 16-line model and the C32 32-line model. Both variants feature a rugged mechanical design with an IP67 protection rating to withstand harsh environmental conditions.

Precision ranging performance

Utilising a pulsed 905nm Class 1 eye-safe laser, the sensor provides reliable detection up to 150 metres. The C16 model achieves a typical accuracy of plus or minus 1cm, while the C32 model delivers a typical accuracy of plus or minus 3cm.

Comprehensive field of view

Both models offer a full 360-degree horizontal field of view alongside a 30-degree vertical field of view. This ensures complete situational awareness for autonomous mobile robots and mapping platforms.

High speed data output

Data is transmitted via a 100 Mbps Ethernet connection, outputting 3D spatial coordinates, reflection intensity, and timestamps over UDP. The system supports single and double return modes, reaching up to 1,280,000 points per second on the C32 model.

Robust electrical and physical design

Operating on a wide input voltage range of +12VDC to +32VDC, these sensors consume between 10W and 12W of power. Both units weigh 1040g and are built to survive extreme temperatures from -20 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees Celsius.
