Description
The LattePanda Mu is a card-sized x86 compute-on-module powered by an Intel N100 quad-core processor, 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 64GB eMMC storage. Designed for makers, embedded engineers, and OEM developers, it provides desktop-class x86 computation in an ultra-compact form factor. Its exposed high-speed interfaces make it ideal for custom embedded devices, robotics, and industrial applications.
Intel N100 quad-core processing power
Equipped with an Intel N100 processor reaching up to 3.4GHz turbo frequency, the module delivers dependable multitasking performance for demanding embedded applications. It achieves a single-core score of 1217 and a multi-core score of 3115 on Geekbench 6, doubling the CPU performance of a Raspberry Pi 5.

Compact card-sized form factor
Measuring just 69.6mm by 60mm, the module integrates smoothly into space-constrained enclosures and compact systems. It delivers full x86 processing capability without occupying unnecessary physical volume.

Configurable 6W to 35W TDP
Processor Thermal Design Power can be adjusted between 6W and 35W to balance energy efficiency and compute throughput. The 6W setting enables silent operation with passive cooling, while the 35W profile unlocks peak performance under active cooling.

Extensive high-speed expansion interfaces
The module exposes up to 9 PCIe 3.0 lanes, 4 USB 3.2 ports, 8 USB 2.0 ports, 2 SATA 3.0 interfaces, and 64 expandable GPIOs. It also provides up to 3 display outputs supporting resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 60Hz.

Versatile carrier board options
Hardware validation is streamlined with compatible carrier solutions, including a compact lite carrier for rapid verification and a full-function evaluation carrier for exhaustive testing. Note that the PCIe slot on the lite carrier requires a 12V power supply.

Open-source KiCAD carrier files
LattePanda provides open-source KiCAD carrier board files and reference hardware libraries. Designers can readily adapt and build tailor-made carrier boards to meet specific project needs while reducing engineering time.

Broad operating system support
The compute module supports Windows 10, Windows 11, and Ubuntu Linux. This broad compatibility allows developers to deploy standard x86 software environments and tools without specialised porting.
