The LattePanda IOTA Active Cooler is an ultra-thin aluminium heatsink paired with a variable-speed fan, designed specifically for the LattePanda IOTA single-board computer. It delivers efficient thermal dissipation to maintain optimal processor performance under heavy workloads. This cooler is an essential upgrade for makers, educators, and developers building compact embedded systems.

Ultra-thin aluminium cooling design

Built from high-conductivity aluminium alloy with integrated cooling fins, the heatsink quickly transfers heat away from the processor. Its ultra-thin profile saves valuable space inside compact enclosures, while a temperature-resistant engineering plastic housing provides a tidy, durable exterior.

Dynamic pressure bearing fan

The cooler incorporates a dynamic pressure bearing fan capable of speeds up to 5300 RPM using PWM speed control. This configuration delivers high airflow with low operating noise and an extended service life.

Integrated thermal pads and connector

The heatsink base includes pre-applied thermal pads to ensure optimal heat conduction directly against the board. It operates at 5V and 0.22A, connecting directly to the LattePanda fan header via a flat MX1.25-4P connector on an 18mm lead.

Installation and orientation requirements

Ensure the LattePanda IOTA is powered off before fitting or removing the unit. Fasten the heatsink to the mounting holes on the back of the board using the supplied hardware, orienting the air outlet toward the network port side.
