Description
The LakiBeam 1S is an industrial-grade 2D pulsed Time-of-Flight LiDAR scanner delivering a 270-degree field of view across a range of up to 15 metres with 2cm precision. Built with an IP65-rated enclosure and Ethernet UDP connectivity, it is ideally suited for robotics engineers, makers, and industrial developers building navigation, AGV obstacle avoidance, and perimeter security systems.
Wide 270-degree scanning coverage
The sensor covers a 270-degree horizontal field of view across a 0 to 15 metre detection range with ±2cm accuracy. Users can select between 0.2-degree angular resolution at a 10Hz rotation frequency or 0.5-degree resolution at 20Hz.

High-density point cloud acquisition
A data sampling rate of up to 18,000 points per second produces dense, high-quality point clouds with virtually zero blind zones. The module streams real-time distance, angle, echo intensity, and timestamp data.

100kLux ambient light resistance
Engineered for reliable mapping in both indoor and bright outdoor environments, the optical system resists ambient light up to 100kLux. The rugged housing provides IP65 environmental protection and operates in temperatures from -25°C to 60°C.

Class 1 VCSEL laser emitter
Equipped with a 940nm VCSEL emitter, the unit produces a smaller laser spot size than traditional EEL emitters to minimise trailing and boost accuracy. The laser power stays below 1mW, complying with Class 1 eye safety standards.

Built-in web management interface
An integrated web service accessible via standard web browsers enables effortless setup, dashboard monitoring, and over-the-air firmware updates. The device supports 100 Mbps Ethernet UDP output alongside a masked Type-C USB mode.

Compact and durable hardware
Driven by a quiet, long-life brushless motor, the compact 160g module fits easily into space-constrained robot platforms. It operates on a wide 6V to 36V DC input with a power consumption of 2.5W or less.
