Description
The Keyestudio Quick Connectors Motor Drive Shield V2 is a stackable expansion board designed to simplify motor control for Arduino UNO R3 projects. It is an ideal choice for students, educators, and hobbyists building robotic chassis that require reliable multi-motor drive capabilities. With plug-and-play anti-reverse connectors, it eliminates complex wiring, making it perfect for classroom environments and rapid prototyping.
High-power L298P motor driver
Built on the STMicroelectronics L298P high-power motor driver IC, this shield can directly drive DC motors as well as two-phase and four-phase stepper motors. It supports a driving current of up to 2A and features eight high-speed Schottky diodes to protect the output terminals.

Stackable design and integrated power
The shield plugs directly onto an Arduino UNO R3 board to reduce wiring complexity and technical difficulty. Once external battery power is connected, the onboard slide switch turns on power to both the motor shield and the underlying UNO board simultaneously.

Anti-reverse quick connectors
The board features anti-reverse interfaces for the motors, power supply, and sensor modules to ensure safe, direct plug-in connections. It also includes a dedicated Bluetooth interface that is fully compatible with the Keyestudio HM-10 Bluetooth module.

Flexible four-motor control
The shield can control up to four DC motors, with connectors A and A1, and B and B1 wired in parallel. Eight onboard jumpers allow you to easily reverse the rotation direction of individual motors by switching the jumper orientation from horizontal to vertical.

Header pins for sensor expansion
To allow for easy project expansion, extra digital and analogue ports are broken out into standard 2.54mm pin headers. This makes it simple to connect additional sensors, actuators, and modules for advanced robotics experiments.

Technical specifications
The shield operates with a 5V DC logic input voltage and a 7-12V DC driving input voltage, with a maximum power dissipation of 25W at 75 degrees Celsius. It measures 66mm by 55mm by 18mm, weighs 25.2g, and functions in temperatures ranging from -25 to +130 degrees Celsius.
