Description

The Keyestudio 3D Printer Kit is an all-in-one control solution designed for makers, hobbyists, and educators building or upgrading RepRap 3D printers. This comprehensive kit bundles the integrated MKS Base 1.2 controller board with five high-performance DRV8825 stepper drivers and an LCD 12864 smart controller. It provides everything you need to achieve precise motor control and standalone, PC-free printing.

Integrated MKS Base controller

The MKS Base 1.2 combines the features of the RAMPS 1.4 and Arduino Mega 2560 boards into a single, streamlined board solution. This design reduces clutter and simplifies wiring, making it an optimised controller for your RepRap 3D printer.

Integrated MKS Base controller

Standalone LCD smart controller

The LCD 12864 Smart Controller features an integrated SD-card reader and connects directly to your board using the included smart adapter. Once connected, the controller powers your SD card, allowing you to print designs directly without needing a tethered computer.

Advanced DRV8825 stepper drivers

The included DRV8825 stepper motor driver carriers serve as high-performance, drop-in replacements for standard A4988 boards. They feature adjustable current limiting, overcurrent protection, and thermal protection to safeguard your printer's motion system.

Precise microstepping and power

Operating between 8.2 V and 45 V, these drivers support six microstep resolutions down to 1/32-step for ultra-smooth motion. Each driver can deliver up to 1.5 A per phase without active cooling, and up to 2.2 A per coil when paired with sufficient additional cooling.
