Description
The Keyestudio 16-channel Servo Motor Drive Shield is an easy-to-use expansion board designed to overcome the standard PWM limitations of the Arduino UNO R3. Stacking directly onto your microcontroller, it is ideal for students, educators, and hobbyists building multi-jointed robots or complex animatronics.
Expand your PWM capabilities
While a standard Arduino UNO R3 only provides six PWM ports, this shield allows you to drive up to 16 servos simultaneously. It stacks directly onto your board to save space and simplify your wiring.

Minimal pin usage
The shield communicates via an I2C interface, meaning it only occupies the A4 and A5 pins on your Arduino UNO R3. This leaves the rest of your microcontroller's pins free for other sensors and inputs.

Built-in prototyping area
The board features double-sided PCB holes, allowing you to solder components directly onto the shield. This makes it easy to build custom prototyping circuits alongside your servo connections.

Independent power inputs
To protect your logic circuit, the shield features an independent servo power input supporting up to 6V. The logic signal and logic power run independently at 3V to 5V.

High-resolution control specs
Operating at a frequency range of 40Hz to 1000Hz, the shield delivers 12-bit resolution across all 16 channels. The compact board measures 69mm by 54mm by 24mm and weighs just 20g.
