The K&H MFG MTS-200 Tutor for Raspberry Pi is a comprehensive educational trainer designed to connect a Raspberry Pi with the physical computing world. Featuring 16 modular electronic blocks and structured Python tutorials, it allows learners to build and test practical digital maker projects. This platform is ideal for classroom teaching, STEM laboratories, and student makers.
Integrated interfaces and display
The trainer includes a built-in touch screen for direct interaction and control alongside two sets of independent DAC and ADC circuits. Three sets of I/O ports are positioned around the working area for straightforward signal wiring.
Diverse input and sensing modules
The system includes digital input components such as BCD switches, 8-bit DIP switches, toggle switches, and push buttons. Analog and environmental sensing options feature slide potentiometers, a joystick, AD-590 temperature sensors, Hall sensors, photo interrupters, and reed switches.
Actuation and power management
Output experiments support a piezoelectric buzzer, DC motor, step motor, and a 2-axis servo. An independent power supply is integrated into the unit to reliably run multiple peripheral modules simultaneously.
Python-guided curriculum
The accompanying experiment manual provides step-by-step procedures in the Python programming language. This allows students to efficiently learn how to read sensors, process inputs, and drive actuators.
