Description
The IDL-400 is an integrated digital logic training system designed to help beginners explore and comprehend fundamental logic theory. Equipped with essential logic gates, debounced switches, pulse generation, and an on-board DC power supply, it offers an all-in-one platform for electronics experiments. It is ideally suited for students, educators, and makers learning digital circuit design.
Integrated logic gates
The trainer incorporates built-in basic logic gates, including 6 AND, 6 OR, 6 NAND, 6 NOR, 3 XOR, and 3 NOT gates. These support standard digital logic experiments with logic thresholds specified at greater than 2.25V for high levels and under 0.8V for low levels.
Multi-rail DC power supply
An integrated power supply provides regulated +5V (1 A), -5V (500 mA), and ±15V (500 mA) DC outputs with built-in short circuit protection and status indication. This delivers clean, protected power to test circuits without needing external bench power.
Built-in pulse and I/O tools
The unit features an on-board +5V pulse generator offering time intervals of 1 s, 0.1 s, and 0.01 s. It also includes debounced HI/LO logic switches and an 8-bit LED output indicator supporting input voltages up to 15V DC.
Solderless prototyping area
The station features an AD-200 solderless breadboard with 1896 interconnected tie points. It accommodates all standard DIP-packaged integrated circuits and solid connecting wire from AWG #22 to #30 (0.3 to 0.8 mm).
