K&H MFG ETS-7000B Digital-Analog Training System

The K&H MFG ETS-7000B Digital-Analog Training System is an integrated electronics workstation designed to build and reinforce digital and analogue circuit comprehension. It combines regulated DC power supplies, a multi-waveform function generator, an 8-digit frequency counter, and a generous prototyping area into a single benchtop unit. It provides an intuitive, hands-on learning environment well suited to students, educators, and laboratory experimenters.

Prototyping breadboard area

The workstation incorporates an AD-222 solderless breadboard offering 2712 nickel-plated tie points. It accommodates all standard DIP components and solid wire between AWG 22 and AWG 30 (0.3 mm to 0.8 mm), and can be replaced or connected with demonstration panels.

Power supply and signal generation

Power options include fixed +5V (1A) and -5V (300mA) outputs, plus dual variable 0V to +15V and 0V to -15V (500mA) DC supplies. An onboard function generator covers 0.1 Hz to 200 kHz across six selectable ranges, producing sine, triangle, and square waveforms up to 20Vpp, alongside a dedicated +5V TTL output.

Digital logic and measurement tools

An integrated 8-digit universal counter measures frequency from 1 Hz to 100 MHz and period from 0.01 µs upwards. Logic circuits can be controlled and monitored using 16-bit toggle data switches, two debounced pulse buttons, a 16-bit LED indicator array, and a two-digit BCD 7-segment display.

Interface and included accessories

The panel includes an 8-ohm speaker, variable resistors (1 kΩ and 100 kΩ), banana and BNC connector adaptors, and a Type-A USB socket with breakout tie points. The package includes a power cord, user manual, USB cable, 15 connection pins, and a UC-06 Centronics connector.
