ITEAD XBee Wireless Adapter Shield V1.1 for Arduino

The ITEAD XBee Shield simplifies the process of adding wireless communication capabilities to your Arduino projects. It mates directly with compatible Arduino boards and supports all standard and Pro versions of Series 1 and Series 2 XBee modules. Broad XBee module compatibility

The shield mates directly with an Arduino Pro or USB board to enable wireless communication. It works seamlessly with all XBee modules, including Series 1 and Series 2 (and 2.5), across both standard and Pro variants.

Versatile communication and pin access

Board configuration allows switching communication between FTDI-USB and Arduino via HardwareSerial or SoftwareSerial. It also provides a full 2.54mm breakout for XBee pins and dual shield interfaces compatible with Arduino for cascading.

Power and status monitoring

The onboard regulator supplies up to 500mA under 3.3V to reliably power high-demand modules. Three dedicated onboard LED indicators provide immediate visual feedback for ON/SLEEP, signal strength (RSSI), and association status (ASS).
