Description
The Industrial UV Intensity Sensor measures ultraviolet radiation and UV index across the 290 nm to 390 nm spectral band. Featuring an RS485 Modbus-RTU interface and an IP67-rated enclosure, it is well suited for engineers, researchers, and makers building outdoor environmental stations or industrial monitoring systems.
Broadband ultraviolet detection
The sensor detects UV radiation across the 290 nm to 390 nm wavelength spectrum. This broad sensitivity range allows accurate monitoring of ambient ultraviolet exposure.
Intensity and UV index measurement
It supports an intensity measurement range of 0 to 15 mW/cm² alongside standard UV index calculations. This enables precise data collection for solar tracking and safety monitoring applications.
RS485 Modbus-RTU interface
Communication is handled via RS485 using the standard Modbus-RTU protocol. This ensures reliable serial data transfer over long cable runs to PLCs, microcontrollers, and IoT gateways.
