Description

The Industrial RS485 Water Quality Ammonia Nitrogen & pH Sensor is a rugged, multi-parameter probe designed for reliable real-time water monitoring. Featuring automatic pH and temperature compensation alongside standard Modbus-RTU communication, it provides high-precision data for aquaculture operators, environmental researchers, and industrial automation projects.

Integrated ammonia and pH sensing

This probe accurately detects both free ammonia (NH3) and ammonium ions (NH4+) across a 0 to 100 mg/L range with 0.01 mg/L resolution and ±3% full-scale accuracy. It also measures pH from 0 to 14 pH and water temperature from 0°C to 60°C with rapid response times under 30 seconds.

Automated compensation and Modbus integration

Built-in automatic pH and temperature compensation ensures consistent data output despite fluctuating environmental conditions. The standard RS485 Modbus-RTU interface operates on 10 to 30V DC and easily connects to microcontrollers such as Arduino or LoRaWAN nodes for continuous remote logging.

Submersible IP68 waterproof housing

Pre-calibrated at the factory for immediate deployment, the probe also supports register-based two-point electrode calibration for long-term precision tuning. The corrosion-resistant plastic housing is rated IP68 with 0.2 MPa pressure tolerance, allowing continuous underwater installation.

Versatile water monitoring applications

Deploy this sensor in high-density aquaculture tanks, municipal wastewater aeration basins, and aquaponic loops to automate aeration and protect aquatic life. It is equally effective for ecological monitoring in rivers and reservoirs to track agricultural runoff.

Included hardware and accessories

The kit includes the industrial ammonia nitrogen and pH sensor with a 5-metre cable, a black protective mesh cap, and two cable ties for installation.
