Description

The Industrial-Grade RS485 Water Quality ORP Sensor delivers accurate oxidation-reduction potential monitoring across a broad range of -1999 mV to 1999 mV. Featuring an IP68 waterproof rating and ModBus-RTU output, it is built for continuous submersion in industrial, agricultural, and environmental sensing installations. It suits engineers, educators, and makers developing automated water quality management systems with microcontrollers or PLCs.

High-accuracy ORP measurement

The sensor measures oxidation-reduction potential from -1999 mV to 1999 mV with 1 mV resolution and an accuracy of ±5 mV at 25°C. Its integrated probe and corrosion-resistant housing provide dependable long-term water quality analysis with a response time under one second.

ModBus-RTU over RS485

Equipped with an RS485 interface running standard ModBus-RTU, the sensor easily integrates into industrial control networks, Arduino setups, and LoRaWAN IoT nodes. It operates reliably across a wide 10V to 30V DC power supply with a power draw of just 0.4W.

Automatic temperature compensation

An integrated temperature sensor automatically compensates for thermal fluctuations between 0°C and 60°C to maintain data accuracy. Units arrive factory calibrated for immediate deployment and support two-point calibration via register settings for ongoing maintenance.

Submersible IP68 construction

Engineered for continuous underwater operation, the housing withstands pressures up to 0.6 MPa and operating temperatures up to 80°C. Each package includes a 5-metre connection cable, protective mesh, cable ties, and 100 ml of 3.3 mol/L KCl electrode storage solution.

Versatile water monitoring applications

This industrial probe is suitable for tracking water sanitation in swimming pools, managing aquaculture conditions, and monitoring effluent in wastewater treatment facilities.
