Industrial Capacitive Liquid Level Sensor for High-Viscosity Liquids

This industrial capacitive liquid level switch accurately detects high-viscosity and mildly corrosive substances such as grease, engine oil, ink, and glue. Built with a 316 stainless steel body and PEEK conical probe, it provides reliable switching via simultaneous NPN and PNP outputs. Viscous and low-corrosive media detection

Using capacitive contact sensing, this sensor reliably detects dense substances including lubricating oil, grease, engine oil, ink, glue, and powders. The conical PEEK probe head is specifically shaped to reduce liquid clinging and false triggers.

Adjustable sensitivity and built-in protection

An onboard adjustment knob allows you to tune sensitivity to different media and prevent false readings from foam, residue, or crusts. The unit includes a real-time status indicator LED alongside integrated reverse-polarity and over-current protection.

Durable PEEK and stainless construction

Housed in 316 stainless steel with an IP65 rating, the sensor features standard M12*1 threading for straightforward mechanical installation. Built-in temperature compensation ensures stable sensing performance between -25°C and 75°C.

Dual NPN and PNP outputs

Operating from a 12-24V DC supply, the sensor provides concurrent NPN and PNP switching outputs capable of sinking or sourcing up to 100mA. It responds within 20ms with a 50Hz switching frequency, using standard colour-coded four-wire connections.

Operating limits and included accessories

The sensor is rated for operational pressures up to 0.3MPa and temperatures up to 75°C, and should not be used where dried glue cannot be cleaned off the probe. Each package includes one liquid level sensor and a calibration screwdriver.
