Industrial 4-Channel Relay Module

The Industrial 4-Channel Relay Module allows users to manage and switch multiple electrical loads directly via a single computer serial port. Powered by standard Modbus RTU protocol, it is ideally suited for makers, engineering students, and technicians designing industrial automation, lighting, or motor control systems.

Modbus RTU serial communication

The module operates using the standard Modbus RTU protocol over an RS485 data interface with address configuration from 0 to 255. It supports communication baud rates of 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, and 38400, with a default format of 9600, n, 8, 1.

Independent relay outputs

Four isolated relay outputs switch both AC and DC loads rapidly, including solenoid valves and motors. Each contact supports ratings up to 10A at 250V AC or 10A at 30V DC with an endurance rating of 100,000 cycles.

Optocoupler isolation and switching inputs

The board incorporates optocoupler isolation to protect control equipment from electrical noise and voltage spikes. It includes four-way switching inputs to capture external digital trigger signals alongside the relay outputs.

Wide power supply and visual status LEDs

The module accepts a wide input power supply ranging from DC 7V to 30V. Built-in diagnostic indicators include one red power LED and four red output status LEDs for direct visual feedback.

Rugged industrial grade design

Built for demanding deployment environments, the unit functions reliably across an industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The module measures 115 x 95 x 41 mm.
