I2C RGB Backlight LCD 16x2 Display Module for Arduino (RGB Text)

The I2C RGB Backlight LCD 16x2 Display Module is an Arduino Uno shield featuring an integrated 16x2 screen with RGB text capability. Designed for students, educators, and makers, it provides real-time status readouts and interactive control without messy wiring.

Direct Arduino shield integration

The module plugs directly onto an Arduino controller and uses I2C communication to reduce pin usage. Characters and numbers can be displayed with minimal setup by including the standard Arduino library and a few lines of code.

Full IO pin breakout

All Arduino Uno IO pins are extended to the back of the shield. This allows you to wire sensors, LEDs, and servos directly to the board while using the LCD display simultaneously.

Onboard programmable buttons

The shield incorporates six keys, five of which are fully programmable. These buttons can be assigned to switch interface modes, adjust parameters, or trigger custom functions in your sketch.

Electrical and physical specifications

The board operates between 3.3V and 5.0V with an operating current under 0.8mA. It measures 87.0 x 52.0 x 14.8 mm and functions across an operating temperature range of -20 to +70 degrees Celsius.
