Description

The HUSKYLENS 2 Microscope Camera Module converts your HUSKYLENS 2 AI vision sensor into a compact digital microscope with 30x optical magnification. Equipped with a 2MP GC2093 sensor and an 8.5mm lens, it allows automated recognition and classification of fine microscopic targets. It is ideal for students, educators, and makers exploring biology-tech, electronics quality control, and computer vision projects.

AI-driven microscopic vision

This module enables HUSKYLENS 2 machine vision algorithms to function at the microscopic scale. Instead of basic observation, the system can be trained to automatically classify, track, and react to specific cells, micro-organisms, and micro-structures.

Precision magnification optics

Featuring an 8.5mm focal length lens with a 6-degree field of view and a 6mm shooting distance, this attachment delivers approximately 30x magnification. Under observation, a 1mm gap on a physical caliper appears as 30mm on the connected display.

High-resolution fine line inspection

Powered by a 2-megapixel GC2093 sensor, the camera achieves a system spatial resolution of approximately 161 lp/mm. It resolves line widths down to roughly 3 micrometres (USAF 1951, Group 7, Element 3), making it well suited for inspecting microelectronics and PCB traces.

The high optical resolving power allows users to clearly distinguish minute cellular structures and biological samples. This makes the sensor an effective tool for automated bio-sensing setups and interdisciplinary STEM coursework.

Direct-fit hardware integration

Engineered as an official upgrade for HUSKYLENS 2, the module attaches directly without requiring complex third-party calibration. It includes a small Phillips screwdriver for fast installation.
