The HUSKYLENS 2 IR Night Vision Camera Module is a dedicated infrared lens accessory that enables 24/7 AI vision processing in total darkness. Designed for the HUSKYLENS 2 AI Vision Sensor, it is ideal for students, makers, and hobbyists building covert wildlife trackers, nighttime security systems, or autonomous robots operating in dark environments.

True zero-lux AI vision

When paired with an 850nm infrared fill light, this module delivers sharp black-and-white images in 0 lux complete darkness. It allows HUSKYLENS 2 to accurately perform face recognition, object tracking, and custom feature detection without visible light.

Dual-band optical pass filter

The integrated lens passes visible light at 650nm and infrared light at 850nm. It is highly sensitive to ambient or reflected 850nm infrared radiation while preserving object contours, textures, and contrast for AI algorithms.

Covert and non-intrusive monitoring

Because 850nm infrared illumination is invisible to the human eye and most wildlife, the module allows for discreet operation. You can observe nocturnal animal behaviour without disturbance or deploy covert security surveillance in yards and warehouses.

Versatile dark environment applications

This module enables HUSKYLENS 2 to break through visible light limitations across various robotics and automation projects. Key applications include nighttime wildlife observation, 24/7 security monitoring, and robot navigation in unlit rooms.

Sensor and optical specifications

The module features a 2-megapixel GC2093 image sensor with a recommended shooting range of 1 to 150 cm. It provides a wide field of view of D91°, H83°, and V51° with a standard M12 lens mount secured by M2x6 screws.
