Gravity: URM09 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor (2～500cm, Trig)

The Gravity: URM09 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor is a non-contact ranging module designed for accurate distance measurement between 2cm and 500cm. It is an ideal addition to robotics, obstacle detection, and automation projects for makers, students, and educators working with Arduino or Raspberry Pi.

Single pin multiplexed operation

Unlike standard ultrasonic modules that require separate trigger and echo pins, this sensor multiplexes input and output signals onto a single line. This allows you to perform ranging functions using only one microcontroller I/O pin.

Wide range and high accuracy

The module delivers 1% accuracy and a 1cm resolution across an effective measuring range of 2cm to 500cm when tested on a flat wall. It operates at an acoustic frequency of 40±2KHz with a maximum ranging frequency of 25Hz.

URM09 beam angle coverage

The directional acoustic beam profile provides dependable non-contact proximity detection across its operating field.

Gravity plug-and-play interface

Featuring a vertical PH2.0-3P Gravity connector, the sensor supports supply voltages from 3.3V to 5.5V DC. It pairs directly with both 3.3V and 5V development boards including Arduino and Raspberry Pi.

Compact form factor and contents

Measuring 47 by 22mm, the board operates across temperatures from -10°C to +70°C. The pack includes one URM09 sensor module and a compatible PH2.0-3P connector cable.
