Gravity: TCS34725 RGB Color Sensor for Arduino

The Gravity: TCS34725 RGB Color Sensor accurately detects visible light and returns digital red, green, and blue values over an I2C connection. It is ideal for students, educators, and hobbyists building colour-recognition systems, sorting mechanisms, or environmental sensing projects with Arduino.

Integrated IR filter and LEDs

Equipped with an integrated IR blocking filter and four ultra-bright white LEDs, the sensor provides high sensitivity across changing ambient light conditions and operates without external illumination.

Dual connection interfaces

The module connects via your microcontroller's I2C bus at clock speeds up to 400 kHz. It features both a Gravity PH2.0-4P connector and XH2.54 header footprints for straightforward breadboard prototyping.

Operating voltage and detection range

The sensor operates at 3.3V to 5V with a low 65 uA current draw. It delivers accurate colour measurement within a close-range detection distance of 3 mm to 10 mm across an operating temperature range of -30 to +70 degrees Celsius.
