Description
The Gravity: NH3 Sensor is a factory-calibrated electrochemical module designed to measure environmental ammonia concentrations from 0 to 100ppm accurately. Supporting analog, I2C, and UART communication, it is ideal for students, makers, and engineers developing industrial monitoring and environmental protection projects.
Factory-calibrated electrochemical sensing
The sensor uses an electrochemical probe that comes pre-calibrated from the factory for fast and accurate NH3 measurement. It delivers high sensitivity, strong anti-interference capabilities, high stability, and an operational lifespan of over two years in air.

Versatile multi-mode signal output
The module supports three distinct output modes: I2C, UART (0 to 3V), and analog voltage. It includes 32 configurable I2C addresses, an integrated temperature compensation algorithm, and an on-board threshold alarm function.
Broad controller compatibility
Operating at 3.3V to 5.5V DC with low current consumption under 5mA, the adapter board interfaces seamlessly with mainstream controllers such as Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi via the standard Gravity interface.
Standardised multi-gas platform
This unit is part of DFRobot's 12-sensor gas detection series, which share uniform data formats and usage methods. This enables quick stacking and combination with other gas sensors like CO, O2, and H2S for comprehensive air quality monitoring.
Wide environmental operating range
Engineered for harsh deployments, the sensor functions in temperatures from -20 to 50 degrees Celsius and humidity levels between 15% and 90% RH (non-condensing). The compact conversion board measures just 37 by 32mm.
Complete out-of-the-box kit
The package includes one factory-calibrated NH3 sensor probe, one Gravity NH3 signal conversion board, and one Gravity 4-pin cable for instant plug-and-play wiring.
