Gravity: MQ9 CO & Combustible Gas Sensor (Analog, 10-1000ppm CO)

The Gravity MQ9 gas sensor is an analogue sensing module designed to detect carbon monoxide and combustible gases. With its standard Gravity interface and wide detection range, it is well suited for students, educators, and makers developing safety or environmental monitoring systems.

Carbon monoxide detection range

The sensor accurately detects carbon monoxide concentrations between 10 and 1000 ppm. This makes it practical for indoor air safety and ventilation projects.

Combustible gas sensing

Along with carbon monoxide, the MQ9 unit senses various combustible gases. It provides versatile monitoring for experimental alarm and detector systems.

Analogue voltage output

The module provides an analogue output spanning 0 to 5 V corresponding to detected gas levels. This allows straightforward reading via standard microcontroller analogue input pins.

Plug-and-play Gravity interface

Featuring the Gravity interface standard, the sensor connects cleanly to compatible expansion shields. This facilitates fast and tidy wiring without requiring custom breakout boards.
