Gravity: MOSFET Power Controller

The Gravity: MOSFET Power Controller is a solid-state switching module designed to drive high-current DC loads using low-current microcontroller GPIO pins. It is an ideal alternative to mechanical relays for makers, students, and robotics builders working with development boards like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and LattePanda.

Low-current GPIO logic control

Unlike mechanical relays that require coil drive current, this MOSFET module activates from low-current logic signals between 3.3V and 10V DC. This ensures seamless multi-device switching directly from boards with limited pin current, such as Raspberry Pi, LilyPad, and Intel microcontrollers.

Wide DC power handling

The power input port supports voltages from 5V to 36V DC and continuous currents up to 20A. When operating with loads exceeding 10A, adding an external heat sink is recommended.

High-speed switching performance

With a switching frequency of up to 1kHz, a 20-microsecond turn-on time, and a 50-microsecond turn-off time, this controller provides fast response for robotics and motor switching. Please note that the module is designed exclusively for direct current (DC) circuits.

Standard Gravity interface

Equipped with a standard PH2.0-3P Gravity interface, the 44 by 32 mm module connects directly to Arduino IO expansion shields for quick, solderless prototyping. It is built to operate across a broad temperature range of -55 degrees Celsius to 155 degrees Celsius.

Included in the box

Each unit comes supplied with one Gravity MOSFET Power Controller board and one compatible Gravity digital sensor cable.
