Description
The Gravity: Liquid Flow Sensor (G1/2) is an electromagnetic flow meter designed to track the movement of various clean, low-viscosity liquids. Compatible with microcontrollers like the Arduino UNO, it is ideal for students, makers, and educators building fluid-metering, monitoring, or automated dispensing projects.
Electromagnetic fluid measurement
Operating on the electromagnetic principle, this sensor measures the flow rate of high-concentration but low-viscosity liquids containing no impurities. It accommodates a wide range of fluids including water, diesel, engine oil, milk, paint, detergent, and honey.

Durable and waterproof design
Built with an O-ring rubber seal and silicone sealant at the outlet end, the housing delivers solid waterproof performance. It also provides high resistance to vibration and electromagnetic interference for a long operational lifespan.
Standard Gravity interface
The integrated Gravity interface allows straightforward, solderless wiring to compatible expansion shields and development boards. It supports a versatile operating voltage range from 3.5V to 24V DC with a current draw of 10mA or less at 5V.
Accurate pulse output
The sensor generates an NPN pulse signal at a correlation of 150 pulses per litre of liquid throughput. It supports total flow rates from 30 to 1200 L/H, maintaining an error margin within ±1% across the 5 to 600 L/H range.
G1/2 threaded plumbing
Featuring standard G1/2 pipe threading with a 10mm inner diameter and 20.5mm outer diameter, the unit easily integrates into existing fluid lines. It withstands water pressure up to 1.2 MPa and operates in temperatures up to 80°C.
