Gravity: LED Switch for Arduino / micro:bit (Red)

The Gravity: LED Switch (Red) is an illuminated, self-locking push button with a transparent cap that lights up when engaged to provide immediate visual feedback. Compatible with micro:bit and Arduino controllers, it is well suited to students, hobbyists, and educators building interactive control surfaces and maker projects.

Self-locking latch mechanism

The module features integrated self-lock functionality that toggles between states with each press. Pressing the button down sets the digital output to High and illuminates the internal red LED, while pressing it again sets the output to Low and switches off the LED.

Interactive visual feedback

With its transparent cap and bright red illumination, this switch provides clear status confirmation during operation. It is ideal for interactive builds such as custom power switches, backlit keypad matrices, music player interfaces, and recording control panels.

Simple microcontroller wiring

The switch communicates using a standard PH2.0-3P digital connector for quick, solder-free wiring to your micro:bit or Arduino breakout boards. The internal LED activates automatically whenever the button is pressed down into its High state.

Operating voltage and dimensions

The unit operates on 3.3V to 5V DC, with 3.3V recommended for micro:bit integration, and outputs a standard digital signal. The compact board measures 27 mm by 26.5 mm for straightforward mounting in project enclosures.
