Description
The Gravity Lab Grade Analog Electrical Conductivity Sensor Kit (K=1) is an accurate water quality testing solution designed for microcontrollers such as Arduino. It is ideal for students, researchers, and makers building projects in hydroponics, aquaponics, aquaculture, and environmental water monitoring.
Laboratory-grade conductivity measurement
Equipped with a K=1 laboratory probe, this kit reliably measures solution conductivity across a 0 to 20 mS/cm range, with an optimal detection band of 1 to 15 mS/cm. The transmitter employs an AC excitation source to minimise electrode polarisation and deliver an accuracy of plus or minus 5% full scale.
Plug-and-play microcontroller integration
The V2 signal conversion board operates on a wide 3.0V to 5.0V supply, making it directly compatible with 3.3V and 5V development boards. It features hardware signal filtering for low jitter, standard Gravity 3-pin output, and a BNC connector for solderless probe setup.

Automated calibration and temperature compensation
The dedicated software library features built-in two-point calibration and automatically detects standard calibration buffer solutions. Adding an external temperature sensor such as a DS18B20 enables software-driven temperature compensation across the probe operating range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
Probe maintenance and handling
The probe uses an internal platinum black coating that must never be physically touched and should only be rinsed using distilled water. To ensure an optimal operating lifespan of over six months, the lab-grade probe should not remain continuously submerged in liquid for extended periods.
Complete testing kit and accessories
The kit includes the laboratory-grade probe with a 100 cm cable, the V2 transmitter board, and a Gravity analog sensor cable. It also comes supplied with two 1413 uS/cm buffer solutions, two 12.88 mS/cm buffer solutions, waterproof gaskets, and nylon mounting hardware.
