Description
The Gravity Joystick Module delivers smooth dual-axis analogue control alongside an integrated digital push button in a compact form factor. It provides students, educators, and makers with an intuitive interface for steering mobile robots, positioning robotic arms, and navigating menus.
Dual-axis analogue and digital input
The module outputs analogue signals along both the X and Y axes to provide proportional directional navigation. Pressing down on the stick engages an integrated digital push button switch for extra trigger or selection commands.
Broad microcontroller compatibility
Supporting a wide 3.3V to 5V operating range, the board pairs seamlessly with Arduino, ESP32, micro:bit, Raspberry Pi Pico, UNIHIKER, and Raspberry Pi platforms equipped with an ADC. Standard Gravity pinouts allow plug-and-play wiring via compatible expansion shields.

Spring auto-return mechanism
An internal spring return automatically centres the joystick whenever released, ensuring consistent zero-point readings. This reliable tactile response makes it practical for extended control sessions and precision manoeuvring.
Standardised Gravity hardware design
Featuring clear port labelling, functional icons, and an immersion gold surface finish, the board is engineered for repeated connection cycles. Standard dual 3mm mounting holes simplify structural assembly onto robotics chassis and project enclosures.
