Fully waterproof IP65 enclosure

The sensor features a fully waterproof body that can be submerged without performance degradation. It delivers dependable readings in greenhouses, outdoor gardens, and potted plants exposed to heavy rain or continuous irrigation.

Corrosion-resistant capacitive sensing

Capacitive measurement prevents probe degradation common to traditional resistive sensors, extending operational life in damp soil. A scratch-resistant surface further protects the unit during prolonged outdoor deployments.

Broad microcontroller compatibility

Operating on a 3.3V to 5.5V DC supply, the sensor outputs a 0 to 3V DC analog signal. It integrates seamlessly with Arduino and ESP32 boards, as well as Raspberry Pi systems using an external ADC module.

Generous cable reach and compact form

Measuring 175 x 30 mm, the probe inserts easily into soil beds and containers. It includes an attached 1.5-metre cable terminated with a standard 2.54mm 3-pin interface for convenient wiring.
