The Gravity Industrial Stainless Steel Submersible Pressure Level Sensor measures liquid depths from 0 to 5 metres with high accuracy. Featuring a rugged submersible design and an included current-to-voltage converter, it is well suited for makers, engineering students, and professionals monitoring water reservoirs, rivers, or industrial tanks.

Precision hydrostatic depth measurement

Equipped with a high-performance pressure sensing chip, advanced circuit processing, and temperature compensation, this sensor determines liquid levels by measuring pressure at varying depths. It outputs an industry-standard 4 to 20mA current signal across a 0 to 5 metre measurement range.

Robust stainless steel construction

Built with an IP68 protection rating, the unit features a 304 stainless steel casing and a 316L stainless steel membrane. The corrosion-resistant probe handles harsh measurement environments such as urban groundwater, reservoirs, rivers, oils, and viscous liquids.

Microcontroller and PLC compatibility

The sensor operates natively on 12V to 36V supplies for direct connection to industrial PLCs. The included Gravity Analog Current to Voltage Converter translates the 4 to 20mA current into a voltage signal easily read by Arduino and other microcontroller boards.

Installation and connection guidelines

For optimal reliability, mount the liquid level probe vertically downward and secure it away from inlets to avoid turbulent flow. Ensure terminal joints remain waterproof and allow the sensor to preheat for 30 minutes after power-up for the steadiest output.

Technical specifications and ratings

The sensor provides 0.5 percent accuracy, a 300 percent overload capacity, and an operating temperature range of -20 to 70 degrees Celsius. It comes fitted with a 5 metre cable and is rated for an operating service life of 100 million pressure cycles at 25 degrees Celsius.
