The Gravity Industrial Analog EC Meter Kit is a rugged water quality monitoring solution featuring an IP68-rated probe with an integrated PT1000 platinum resistance thermometer. Designed for continuous 24/7 immersion, it allows accurate electrical conductivity measurements with real-time temperature compensation. It is well suited to hobbyists, educators, and makers developing automated hydroponics, aquaculture, or environmental monitoring systems.
Continuous 24/7 liquid monitoring
Featuring an industrial-grade IP68 probe, this sensor is built for long-term immersion in aqueous solutions without degradation. It is pressure-resistant up to 0.5MPa and operates reliably across temperatures from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius.
Integrated PT1000 temperature compensation
An embedded PT1000 platinum resistance thermometer measures fluid temperature directly at the probe. This integrated design simplifies gathering compensated temperature data to maintain high measurement consistency.
Low-polarisation AC excitation signal
The signal conversion board employs an AC excitation source that significantly reduces probe polarisation, prolonging sensor lifespan and enhancing precision. Hardware filtering delivers a stable, low-jitter 0 to 3V analogue output across a practical measurement range of 100 to 2000 microsiemens per centimetre.
Plug-and-play controller compatibility
Supporting a wide input voltage of 3.3V to 5.0V, the sensor boards connect directly to 3.3V and 5V main control boards such as Arduino. The standard Gravity interface and software calibration library allow quick, solderless setup.
Comprehensive hardware and calibration kit
The kit includes the industrial conductivity probe with a 5-metre cable, dual conversion boards for EC and RTD signals, Gravity cables, and waterproof connectors. Four bottles of 1413 microsiemens per centimetre standard calibration solution are also provided for fast deployment.
