Description
The Gravity: I2C Voice Recorder Module EDU is an all-in-one voice interaction board that combines sound recording, audio playback, and number synthesis reading. It is an ideal addition for students, educators, and makers looking to introduce audible prompts and speech interactions to their robotics and electronics projects.
Flexible audio recording and playback
This module allows quick manual recording using an onboard single button, as well as full recording and playback control via the Gravity I2C interface. It can store up to 10 distinct audio segments of 100 seconds each.
Built-in number speech synthesis
The module features a number synthesis reading function supporting values from -999999999.999999999 to 999999999.999999999. This allows your microcontroller to easily broadcast live sensor readings such as temperature, humidity, voltage, and time without pre-recording every number.
Dual audio output options
Equipped with an onboard audio amplifier, the board provides plug-and-play sound output. It includes a 3.5mm headphone socket alongside a PH2.0 speaker connector for direct connection to external speakers.
Broad development board compatibility
The module operates from 3.3V to 5V and is compatible with Arduino AVR, BBC micro:bit, mPython, and FireBeetle-ESP32 development boards. It features an adjustable I2C address ranging from 0x30 to 0x39 on a compact 57x40mm footprint.
