The Gravity: I2C LIS331HH Triple Axis Accelerometer is a high-performance 3-axis motion sensor offering selectable full scales of ±6g, ±12g, and ±24g. With ultra-low power consumption down to 10uA and 16-bit data output, it is an ideal choice for makers, students, and engineers developing robotics, navigation systems, or VR input devices.

Selectable full-scale acceleration ranges

Users can configure measurement ranges between ±6g, ±12g, and ±24g with 16-bit resolution. The sensor supports flexible data output rates ranging from 0.5Hz up to 1kHz to suit diverse dynamic sensing requirements.

Ultra-low power operating modes

Operating across a 3.3V to 5V supply voltage, the module draws only 10uA in low-power mode and 0.3mA during normal operation. This minimal power demand makes it well suited for battery-powered embedded devices and remote sensing.

Plug-and-play Gravity I2C interface

The standard Gravity interface allows direct connection without soldering, complemented by an onboard toggle switch to alternate between I2C addresses 0x19 and 0x18. A Gravity 4-pin connector is included in the package for quick wiring.

High shock survivability and durability

Engineered to withstand up to 10000g of high shock, this sensor operates reliably across temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C. Its compact 27x27mm board size includes standard 3mm mounting holes for secure physical installation.

The module is suitable for free-fall detection, motion-activated triggering, and gaming input devices. It also integrates seamlessly into navigation hardware, smart agriculture equipment, and mobile robotics platforms.
