Description

The Gravity I2C H3LIS200DL is a high-g triple-axis linear accelerometer designed to measure extreme acceleration ranges up to ±200g with 10000g shock survivability. It offers user-selectable scales, ultra-low power consumption, and standard Gravity I2C connectivity for solderless prototyping. This sensor is ideal for students, makers, and engineers building impact-monitoring devices, drop testers, and vehicle crash loggers.

High-g acceleration measurement

The sensor features user-selectable measurement ranges of ±100g and ±200g with 8-bit data output. Output data rates can be configured from 0.5Hz up to 1KHz to reliably capture rapid dynamic events.

Solderless Gravity I2C interface

Equipped with a Gravity I2C connector, this module connects directly to supported microcontroller shields without soldering. An onboard toggle switch allows you to easily switch the I2C address between 0x19 and 0x18.

Ultra-low power operation

Operating across a 3.3V to 5V supply, the module draws only 10uA in low-power mode and 0.3mA to 0.4mA during normal operation. This minimal power draw makes it well suited for portable battery-powered logging units.

Rugged environmental tolerance

Engineered to survive high-impact environments, the module boasts a 10000g shock survivability rating. It operates reliably across an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

Practical impact applications

With its wide measurement range, the board is suited for shock detection and recording, free-fall tracking, and scale vehicle crash tests.

Compact footprint and accessories

The module measures 27mm by 27mm with standard mounting holes and comes supplied with a Gravity-4P I2C/UART sensor cable for immediate setup.
