Description

The Gravity: I2C BME280 Environmental Sensor combines temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure measurement on a single compact Bosch MEMS module. Operating across 3.3V to 5.0V with plug-and-play Gravity I2C and optional SPI connectivity, it is well suited to students, makers, and developers building IoT weather stations, smart home systems, and navigation devices.

Three-in-one environmental sensing

Built with a Bosch MEMS sensor, this module provides integrated measurements for ambient temperature, relative humidity, and barometric air pressure. This consolidated design simplifies hardware layouts for IoT monitors and environmental control systems.

High precision measurement ranges

The sensor measures temperatures from -40°C to +85°C with a deviation of ±0.5°C, humidity from 0 to 100%RH with ±2%RH accuracy, and pressure from 300 to 1100 hPa. An offset temperature coefficient of ±1.5 Pa/K ensures dependable pressure tracking during temperature shifts.

Flexible Gravity I2C and SPI interfaces

The board features a standard Gravity I2C port alongside reserved XH2.54 pins for SPI communication. Full 3.3V and 5.0V microcontroller compatibility allows for rapid prototyping across diverse development platforms.

Low-power, compact form factor

Weighing only 12g and measuring 22 by 25 mm, the sensor operates at a low 2mA current draw. Its compact footprint suits indoor navigation, floor-change detection, vertical velocity tracking, and HVAC automation.

Included connection accessories

Each unit is supplied with the BME280 sensor board, an XH2.54 6-pin header for breadboard use, and a Gravity 4-pin I2C/UART sensor wire for immediate wiring.
