The Gravity I2C 16x2 LCD module is an Arduino-compatible character display capable of rendering 16 black characters across 2 lines over a full-colour RGB background. Featuring a simplified 4-pin I2C Gravity interface, it is ideal for students, educators, and makers looking to add clear visual feedback to their projects without consuming excessive microcontroller pins.

Full RGB colour backlight

Unlike standard monochrome displays, this screen features an adjustable RGB backlight capable of producing up to 16 million colours. This allows you to set custom background colours to indicate system states or enhance project aesthetics.

Simple four-pin I2C communication

The display communicates over an I2C interface requiring only four connections: VCC, GND, SDA, and SCL. This frees up at least four digital or analogue pins on boards like the Arduino Uno.

Plug-and-play Gravity interface

Equipped with a standard Gravity connector, the module eliminates complex wiring and soldering. It plugs directly into compatible IO expansion shields using the supplied Gravity 4-pin cable.

Flexible operating voltage

The module operates across a 3.3V to 5.0V voltage range, ensuring broad compatibility with 3.3V and 5V development boards. It supports operating temperatures from -20 to 70 degrees Celsius.

Compact physical footprint
