Description
The Gravity: HF Sensor is a factory-calibrated electrochemical module designed to measure hydrogen fluoride gas concentrations across a range of 0 to 10 ppm. Featuring versatile analogue, I2C, and UART outputs, it is ideal for students, makers, and engineers developing industrial safety or environmental monitoring systems with microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi.
Electrochemical sensing and factory calibration
The electrochemical probe delivers high sensitivity, strong anti-interference capabilities, and stable performance with an operational lifespan exceeding two years. Factory pre-calibration ensures accurate hydrogen fluoride detection straight out of the box without the need for complex initial tuning.
Versatile triple-mode communication
The sensor adapter board supports analogue voltage, UART (0 to 3V), and I2C output modes to suit diverse project setups. The I2C mode offers 32 selectable addresses, an integrated temperature compensation algorithm, and an onboard threshold alarm.
Unified multi-gas sensor ecosystem
This unit is part of a 12-sensor gas detection lineup that shares identical data formats and interface layouts. This shared design allows you to easily combine multiple gas probes within a single monitoring rig.

Controller compatibility and low power
Operating at 3.3V to 5.5V DC with a current draw under 5 mA, the sensor integrates seamlessly with 3.3V and 5V development boards. The standard Gravity 4-pin connector simplifies wiring for rapid prototyping on Arduino, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi.
Package contents and specifications
The kit includes one HF signal conversion board measuring 37 by 32 mm, one HF sensor probe, and a Gravity 4-pin cable. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -20 to 50 degrees Celsius and relative humidity levels between 15 and 90 percent non-condensing.
