Description

The Gravity: H2S Sensor is a factory-calibrated electrochemical module designed to measure ambient hydrogen sulfide concentrations reliably. With support for analog, I2C, and UART outputs, it provides educators, hobbyists, and engineers with an accessible tool for environmental monitoring and safety projects.

Factory-calibrated electrochemical probe

Utilising electrochemical sensing principles, the probe delivers high sensitivity, strong anti-interference, and stable readings across a 0 to 100 ppm detection range. It comes pre-calibrated from the factory and provides an operating lifespan exceeding two years in air.

Flexible output and built-in compensation

The module supports I2C, 0 to 3V UART, and analog voltage signal outputs for diverse project setups. It includes 32 configurable I2C addresses, an integrated temperature compensation algorithm, and an on-board threshold alarm feature.

Wide microcontroller compatibility

Operating at 3.3V to 5.5V DC, the board connects seamlessly to Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi using the standard Gravity 4-pin interface. It shares a uniform data format and usage structure with 11 other gas sensors in the same series.

Wide microcontroller compatibility

Low-power hardware specifications

The 37 x 32 mm signal adapter board consumes less than 5mA of current during operation. It performs across working temperatures of -20 to 50 degrees Celsius and relative humidity levels from 15 to 90 percent non-condensing.

Kit contents and practical applications

The kit includes the H2S sensor probe, the Gravity signal conversion board, and a 4-pin connecting cable. It is designed for applications such as industrial gas detection, underground air monitoring, and environmental protection devices.
