Gravity: GP8413 2-Channel 15-bit I2C to 0-5V/10V DAC Module

The Gravity GP8413 is a dual-channel 15-bit digital-to-analogue converter module that provides standard 0-5V or 0-10V analogue voltage outputs over I2C. Operating from a 3.3V to 5V supply, it is ideal for makers, engineering students, and robotics enthusiasts interfacing microcontrollers with industrial equipment.

High-precision dual analogue outputs

The onboard GP8413 chip delivers 15-bit resolution with an output value range of 0 to 32767 across two separate channels. It achieves high signal accuracy with an output voltage error below 0.2 percent and a linearity error of just 0.01 percent.

Straightforward Arduino wiring

Using a standard Gravity 4-pin I2C interface, this module connects directly to Arduino and other compatible microcontrollers operating at 3.3V or 5V. The included Gravity sensor cable ensures clean, solder-free wiring right out of the box.

Multi-channel I2C cascading

With 8 configurable I2C hardware addresses, multiple modules can be cascaded on a single bus to expand up to 16 output channels. This allows for centralised multi-device automation without overloading microcontroller pins.

Industrial equipment automation

The standard 0-5V and 0-10V driving ranges allow direct control over a wide variety of commercial devices. It is well suited for automated lighting adjustment, variable frequency drives (VFD), motorized valve regulation, and water pump management.
