Description
The Gravity: GP8211 I2C 15-bit DAC Module is a high-precision digital-to-analogue converter capable of generating selectable 0–5V or 0–10V analogue output signals. Powered by a 3.3V to 5V supply and communicating via standard I2C, it provides an outstanding 0.01% accuracy across 32,768 steps. It is well suited for makers, educators, and engineers automating industrial drives, valves, and precision actuators.
High-precision 15-bit signal conversion
Utilising the GP8211S chip, the module maps digital inputs from 0 to 32767 directly to an analogue voltage output. With both output voltage error and linearity error held to 0.01%, it is tailored for applications requiring fine calibration.

Standard 0-5V and 0-10V control
The module generates standard industrial analogue control voltages of either 0–5V or 0–10V. This enables microcontrollers to interface directly with external hardware such as variable frequency drives (VFDs), automatic valve regulators, lighting dimmers, and water pumps.
Gravity I2C interface and wiring
Operating across a 3.3V to 5V supply range, the board communicates via standard I2C for straightforward Arduino programming. The standard Gravity 4-pin interface ensures fast, solderless hookup using the included connecting lead.

Fine speed and angle regulation
The combination of 15-bit resolution and single-channel analogue output is optimised for sensitive control scenarios. It provides the exact signal fidelity required for fine-grained motor speed adjustment, position control, and actuator regulation.
