Description
The Gravity Factory Calibrated Electrochemical Alcohol Sensor measures ethanol gas concentrations from 0 to 5ppm with high stability and strong anti-interference. It is ideal for students, makers, and educators building breathalysers, environmental monitoring rigs, and smart vehicle safety projects.
Factory calibrated electrochemical measurement
Utilising electrochemical detection, this sensor arrives pre-calibrated from the factory to deliver stable and sensitive readings of alcohol concentration in air. It boasts a service life of over two years under normal atmospheric conditions.

Dual digital interface options
The board features both I2C and 0 to 3V UART digital communication outputs for straightforward data logging and integration. Its standard Gravity interface simplifies connection to your development boards without messy wiring.

High resolution alcohol detection
With a fine resolution of 0.01ppm (10ppb), the sensor accurately picks up small traces of alcohol vapour within a 0 to 5ppm measuring range. It achieves a response time and recovery time of under 60 seconds each.
Broad controller compatibility
Operating across an input voltage of 3.3V to 5.5V DC with a low power consumption of 0.05W at 5V, the module pairs seamlessly with Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi platforms.
Robust operational specifications
Designed to work in varied environments, the sensor operates reliably between -20 and 50 degrees Celsius and 15 to 90 percent relative humidity without condensation. A preheat time of three minutes or less prepares the unit for accurate sensing.
Included hardware and accessories
Each pack includes the 27mm by 37mm sensor board along with a Gravity 4-pin I2C cable, four M3 nylon posts, and eight M3 screws for secure chassis mounting.
