Description
The Gravity Electrochemical Ozone Sensor is a factory-calibrated detector designed to measure ambient ozone concentrations from 0 to 10 ppm with a fine resolution of 10 ppb. Operating over an I2C interface with 3.3V to 5.5V logic compatibility, it is ideal for students, makers, and developers building environmental monitors, smart home systems, or disinfection cabinet controllers.
Electrochemical sensing with high sensitivity
Utilising electrochemical detection principles, this module delivers accurate ambient O3 measurements with strong anti-interference capabilities and high stability. It features a measurement range of 0 to 10 ppm, a 0.01 ppm (10 ppb) resolution, and an operational lifespan exceeding two years in air.
Gravity I2C interface and controller compatibility
Equipped with a standard 4-pin Gravity I2C connection, the sensor easily integrates with popular microcontrollers including Arduino Uno, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi. It accepts a wide input voltage range from 3.3V to 5.5V DC for seamless integration into diverse projects.
Air quality and health monitoring applications
Ozone is a major air pollutant generated by photochemical reactions that can cause respiratory discomfort and health issues at elevated concentrations. This compact module is suited for air quality monitoring stations, portable safety devices, smart home automation, and sanitisation equipment.

Warm-up times and handling precautions
The module requires a 24 to 48 hour initial warm-up after first power-on to reach complete operational stability, with standard startup warm-up requiring 3 minutes or less. To maintain sensor accuracy, do not remove the protective white breathable membrane and avoid exposure to organic solvents, corrosive gases, or excessive mechanical shock.
Included mounting hardware and cabling
The kit includes one ozone sensor module, a Gravity 4-pin I2C connection cable, four M3 10 mm nylon posts, and eight M3 5 mm screws for easy enclosure installation.
