Description
The Gravity: Digital Tilt Sensor is a simple orientation-detection module designed for robotics, interactive art, and electronics projects. It is an ideal addition for students, makers, and hobbyists looking to add motion-triggered inputs to Arduino or Raspberry Pi systems.
Ball-contact orientation detection
The module contains an internal metal ball that rests against contact pins when held upright to complete a circuit. Tilting the sensor rolls the ball away, breaking the connection and changing the digital output state.

Flexible 3.3V to 5V operation
Supporting a wide input voltage range from 3.3V to 5V, this sensor works seamlessly with standard 5V Arduino setups as well as 3.3V boards such as the Raspberry Pi.
Standardised mounting footprint
Measuring 22 x 30 mm, the board includes dual 3mm mounting holes spaced at standard 5cm intervals for easy mounting onto chassis, brackets, and expansion plates.
Durable gold-plated construction
The sensor features an immersion gold surface finish and a high-quality Gravity digital connector. Clear pin labelling ensures quick identification and error-free wiring.
