Gravity: Digital Piezo Disk Vibration Sensor

The Gravity: Digital Piezo Disk Vibration Sensor uses an onboard piezoelectric transducer to measure physical strain and vibration intensity. Unlike binary vibration switches, it produces an analog voltage proportional to the strength of the vibration, making it ideal for students, makers, and hobbyists building impact-monitoring or percussion-detecting projects.

Proportional vibration intensity sensing

The onboard piezoelectric transducer generates a measurable voltage change in response to mechanical strain. Because the output voltage is directly proportional to vibration strength, microcontrollers can measure the exact extent of vibration rather than merely counting trigger events.

Wide operating voltage range

The sensor operates reliably across a supply voltage range of 3.3V to 5V. It outputs a standard analog signal, ensuring plug-and-play compatibility with 3.3V and 5V development boards.

Arduino strain and pressure detection

Connected microcontrollers like Arduino can directly sense dynamic pressure and surface impact applied to the piezoelectric unit. This enables responsive touch, knock, and surface-vibration detection.

Standardised mounting and robust finish

The module measures 22x30mm and features an immersion gold surface finish. It includes standard mounting holes spaced in 5mm increments with 3mm hole diameters for straightforward structural assembly.

Clear labelling and included analog cable

The board features a high-quality connector, functional icon artwork, and clear 'A' analog interface marking. It includes a dedicated analog cable to connect straight to your interface shield.
