This green LED module delivers a clear visual indicator for testing and interactive projects. It is designed to plug directly into IO and sensor expansion shields without complex breadboarding.

Active-low protective circuitry

The module is wired to illuminate when the signal pin is set to logic low. This prevents the LED from demanding too much current directly from the microcontroller, protecting delicate IO pins from damage.

Reversible logic configuration

If your application requires the LED to light up on a logic high signal, the wiring can be adapted. Switch the green signal wire with the black ground wire, and place the red voltage wire into the signal pin's original position.

Standard digital pinout

The board operates as a digital component with three dedicated pins: control terminal, power supply, and ground. This standard layout ensures simple integration into standard microcontrollers and development boards.
