Gravity: Digital Crash Sensor (Left)

The Gravity: Digital Crash Sensor (Left) is a miniature snap-action micro switch module designed for physical contact and limit sensing. Equipped with an integrated roller lever, it is ideal for students, hobbyists, and makers building collision detection systems or mechanical endstops for Arduino projects.

Snap-action roller lever switch

The module uses a sensitive miniature switch actuated by very little physical force. Its integrated roller lever ensures smooth mechanical contact across varied operating environments and movement angles.

Onboard LED and pull-up resistor

An integrated pull-up resistor and onboard status LED streamline development and testing. The LED provides immediate visual confirmation whenever the switch is triggered without requiring extra indicator circuits.

Standard 5V Gravity pinout

Operating at 5V, the sensor provides a 3-pin digital interface consisting of Digital Output, VCC, and GND. This allows direct plug-and-play connection to Arduino IO expansion shields.

Versatile position and limit detection

This sensor is suited to 3D printer axis position feedback, robot bumper navigation, and mechanism monitoring. It can also serve in safety cut-offs, door interlocks, and paper jam detection setups.

Compact layout with M3 mounting

With overall dimensions of 30 x 20 x 8 mm, the board fits easily into tight assemblies. Dual M3 mounting holes ensure rigid mechanical installation to robot chassis and machine frames.
