Gravity: Digital 16A Relay Module

The Gravity Digital 16A Relay Module is an electrically operated switch that enables microcontrollers to control high-current and high-voltage equipment using a low-power digital signal. Featuring complete electrical isolation between input and output circuits, it is ideal for students, hobbyists, and makers working on interactive installations and automation projects.

Upgraded 16A switching capacity

This updated module increases maximum switching current from 10A to 16A, supporting resistive loads up to 16A at 277VAC or 24VDC. It handles a maximum switching voltage of 400VAC on the normally open contact and up to 4700VA maximum switching power.

Digital TTL interface and isolation

The relay operates via standard TTL level signals from digital IO ports, allowing microcontrollers to safely actuate heavy loads. It provides complete electrical isolation between low-power control systems and connected equipment such as motors, lamps, and solenoid valves.

Fast response timing

Engineered for rapid actuation in automatic control circuits, the module achieves an operate time of no more than 10ms at nominal voltage. It features a release time of 5ms maximum, ensuring responsive switching for dynamic interactive applications.

Insulated compact form factor

Measuring 37 x 29 x 22 mm, the board includes a back panel made from high-quality insulating electrical wood board. Users must exercise caution when working with voltages over 36V, as high-voltage circuits pose physical danger without proper guidance.
