Description
The Gravity: DHT20 is an upgraded digital temperature and humidity sensor featuring factory-calibrated ASIC and MEMS technology. Providing significantly improved measurement ranges, accuracy, and an I2C interface over the older DHT11, it is ideal for students, makers, and educators building connected environmental monitors.
Upgraded MEMS and ASIC hardware
Built with an ASIC dedicated chip and an improved MEMS capacitive humidity element, the DHT20 delivers fast response times and strong anti-interference performance. Every unit is factory calibrated and operates with a low current draw of less than 1mA.

Improved precision and measurement range
The sensor measures ambient temperature from -40°C to +80°C with an accuracy of ±0.5°C and a 0.01°C resolution. Relative humidity is detected from 0 to 100% RH at ±3% RH accuracy (at 25°C) with a 0.024% RH resolution.

Reliable I2C digital communication
The DHT20 communicates via a standard I2C digital output protocol at address 0x38, replacing legacy one-wire communication. This ensures more stable data transmission and easier integration onto shared microcontroller buses.
Broad controller and voltage compatibility
With an operating voltage range of 3.3V to 5.5V DC, this sensor connects seamlessly to 3.3V and 5V mainboards including Arduino, micro:bit, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi without extra level shifting.
Diverse environmental sensing applications
Its robust accuracy and fast response time make the module well suited for weather stations, HVAC systems, data loggers, automotive testing, and home appliance automation.
Compact board and included cable
Measuring 22 x 33 mm with a 3.1mm inner diameter mounting hole, the board fits easily into tight project enclosures. Each unit includes a 30cm Gravity 4-pin I2C sensor connector cable for solder-free wiring.
